While this was my fourth year as an Event Moderator and Elizabella’s third, the most important anniversary was Ultima Online’s fifteenth! It was an honor to be part of this historic year. It was a year of legends. Dupre returned from the Faction Wars to lead the Royal Guard against the demon-machine Exodus. Sherry the Mouse left Britain and traveled across a chaos-wracked kingdom. Other heroes and villains returned, such as Dasha, Adranath, Kabur, Gilforn, Krett, and Hawkwind. Perhaps the most surprising return was that of Lord Blackthorn. After escaping the Ethereal Void, he set about repairing both the Honor Moongate and a fractured Britannia. A reunited Britannia witnessed the coronation of King Blackthorn. It seems that Captain Julius has hired a team of old retired mages from the Mage Tower to make use of all of the snowmen that have been turned in from the Clean Up Britiannia campaign. We were not informed of what the mages were actualy working on, or for what purpose. The walking snowman was named "Snowy the Frostman" which later escaped the castle and was last seen heading into the north woods. We are informed that the snowman is potentially dangerous and should not be confronted but if anyone should see him, to please contact your local Magistrate. The problem arose from a stacking issue that was fixed this morning. Items will no longer be pushed under the house sign or become unlocked. After only a few days of testing, and a single, unannounced day on Origin and Izumo, Pub 80 was released. Even after three updates to the publish, a critical bug made its way through to production shards. When entering a customization mode, secure containers are reportedly being thrown under the house sign unsecured - lootable by any passerby. Zox Greatsnapper likes the fish very much and is not at all terrified of it. For this month of magic and joy, Zox would like a fairy salmon to put on top of her Walrus Festival tree. Fairy salmon frolic in the waters of Ter Mur. It must be caught sometime between December 4th and January 7th. Please leave the fish in the mailbox by January 7th, 11:59 p.m. CST. If your fish is not the heaviest, you may have it back, if you left a house rune to your mailbox with the fish.
