Forums Temporarily Down - UPDATED Submitted by DaKaren on December 12, 2015 at 6:40 PM CST UPDATE 12-13-15 7:10 am:  The forum has a brand new theme!  Expect a few tweaks over the coming days. UPDATE 12-13-15 1:23 am:  The forums are back and should be stable.  Unfortunately, I have yet to find a theme that I think is appropriate for the site, and that works with the updated software.  This may take some time. Also, the easy account switching, for those with multiple characters, is no longer supported (and in fact, horribly breaks the forums). It is unlikely that this feature will return in the foreseeable future, if ever. Due to the server-side PHP update last week, the forums login has been...unreliable. The forum software should be updated later tonight. However, this may break several forum features (multi-accounts, the WYSIWYG editor, and potentially even the forum theme itself)...which will all take a bit more time to resolve. The forum may be up and down several times over the next 24 hours. Please have patience. [Discuss This Article]

Magnus Grey and Sarah Paumera wish you a wonderful holiday season. Please join them on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 for the Royal Spy promotion ceremony. If you would like to discover which Gargoyle Virtue you value most, go to Ter Mur’s Royal City at 148° 53’S, 36° 12’W and speak to Princess Rhista. The crystal ball there will give you a book. Walk a circle inside the Royal City, speaking to the gargoyles named in the book along the way. You can catch their attention by saying their names. Repeat the last word of each sentence to see if they have anything more to tell you. Each gargoyle will ask you a question that has two possible, equally correct, answers. The keywords of the answers will appear in parentheses. Write the keyword of the answer you prefer in the book, next to each gargoyle’s name. There is a gate behind the last gargoyle, Lady Priart. Go through the gate and leave your book in the Award Hall mailbox. This quest can be completed anytime until the end of December. A list of which Gargoyle Virtue each person values most will be on display at the upcoming Promotion Ceremony. For members of the Royal Spies or Royal Guard, this counts a training in Foreign Relations and Spirituality. Turning in a completed book will be treated as though you had attended two Tuesday events. Site Errors - UPDATED Submitted by DaKaren on December 2, 2015 at 3:17 PM CST Update 12-5-15, 6pm CST: The GL Events calendar has been successfully updated, the site should display no further errors. Update 12-5-15, 5pm CST: The GL Events calendar will be temporarily disabled while it is upgraded.  Expect errors on the Great Lakes page until that process is complete. The hosting company for UORPC.NET is presently updating its server software to a newer version of PHP.  The site will display error messages, especially related to the calendar, until this process is completed.
