Bee HiveOriginally posted May 18th, 2011 by EM Elizabella on the Great Lakes EM Site:

A bee buzzes around your face and drops a teeny tiny note on your nose. You find your spyglass and manage to read the note:

Pleazzze come to my bee yard, The Buzzzy Beezzz, in Vezzzper, on Zaturday at 4. –Beejorn the Apiarist

You think for a moment and then remember that there is a beekeeper in Vesper. You decide to go and hope he’ll serve snacks. You fall asleep wondering why that last ’s’ wasn’t zzzzzz.

Britannian Armed Forces

From Galen Knighthawke, Interim Grand Marshal of the B.A.F.:

The Void Plague problem of Ter Mur has been getting worse of late.

In an effort to assist our friends, the Gargoyles of Ter Mur and their Queen, we will be undertaking a short mission against the Void Demons this Friday, May 13, at 7pm Central Time (one hour before the Guard Mission).

Meet at the open air tavern at the Royal City, Ter Mur.  If you don't know where it is, I or someone else can surely tell you.

This expedition should take no more than 30 to 45 minutes, at which point we will ready ourselves for the Guard Mission.

Town recognition and banners is back! You can read about the new rules. Towns that have already been recognized and banners that have already been builts are grandfathered in. However, they cannot be used as precedent for an application.

We once believed the stone maps, relics of some ancient people, were wrong. The distances and shapes and positions did not match the world we had measured, and in our arrogance, we did not consider the movement of time. We were the ones who were wrong. The world changes, and even the most sturdy mountain is drifting on a sea of molten lava. We once believed this was all too slow to bother our work. Of course our maps would be good for ten thousand years! Then the Shattering happened, and the world changed again, powerful sorcery tore apart coasts and smashing mountains together.

When a map is drawn, it traps a moment in time. The world moves on from that moment. Cities fall, islands sink, mountains rise. Take nothing for granted.

Here are several maps I have copied from other sources that show some of the profound changes to our geography. I have also provided a key which the symbols and notations I could decipher.

Map Key

Map #1 – 700,000 Years Ago

Map #2 – The Age of Darkness

Map #3 – A Year After the Shattering

Map #4 – Five Years After the Shattering

Map #5 – Present Day

The Followers of Armageddon are planning something major based on the first ancient map. It is your task to decipher the maps and determine the four locations the FoA will hit. E-mail the four locations to This weekend the Royal Guard will use this information to stop the FoA.
