Isadora Steward's GardenIsadora Steward spent her life collecting, growing, and breeding splendid flowers, plants, and trees. When she passed away, she bequeathed her magnificent completed garden to the people of Sosaria. Isadora asked only that the garden layout she had so carefully designed be preserved exactly as she’d intended, in its new location. The transplanted garden’s grand opening is scheduled for Saturday.

Meet at the Counselor Hall on Saturday, June 25th, at 4 p.m. CDT. The day is likely to be unusually free of disturbances from monsters. Bring a notebook rather than a sword!

Isle of Nujel'm

The new Sultan of Nujel’m invites all to his island for the annual Festival of Masks on Saturday, June 18th, at 8:00 p.m. CDT. This will be a lighthearted street party with food, drinks, and shameless thievery. Please wear a mask and pretend not to recognize anyone else who is wearing a mask.

“The Game” will be played. The goal is to figure out who in Nujel’m has a glittering ruby called the Eye of Dahsk. Then steal the gem and return it to the sultan. To steal the Eye of Dahsk, your character must be a member of the Thieves’ Guild.

Festival of MasksThis year, the sultan has another request. Grave robbing. His son had gotten himself engaged to an unsuitable woman; a paladin foreigner named Brenna. Someone suggested to Brenna that she go on one last quest before the wedding. She and her party died (heroically, of course) in the depths of a den of evil. Unfortunately, the prince had, without his father’s knowledge, given her royal jewels: the Ephemeral Emeralds. She carried them with her always. The sultan wants the emeralds back. When someone brings the sultan an Ephemeral Emerald, he will ask what guild they represent. Be careful though, Brenna’s corpse is in a dangerous area, far from the town guards!

You can recall or sail to Nujel’m for the Festival of Masks and The Game. There will also be:

  • A gate from a few steps southwest of the Felucca Brit. Moongate directly into Nujel’m, a guard zone.
  • A one-way gate near the Buc’s Den moongate to Brenna’s final resting place. Beware, her corpse in NOT in guard zone.
  • A one-way gate from the throne room in Nujel’m to Brenna’s final resting place. Beware, her corpse in NOT in guard zone.

Reward – The name of the first to return the Eye of Dahsk to the sultan will be displayed on a suitable item at the Felucca Award Hall. The name and abbreviation of the guild that brings back the most Emeralds will be displayed on a suitable item at the Felucca Award Hall.

A lone and hooded figure walked through the streets of the Royal City, a living ghost among the shattered buildings and empty streets. Crushed, useless wings hung like wilted petals from its back; silent and broken, Zhah was a pale, shattered shadow of her once powerful self.

The broken and mangled bodies of her people littered the streets, their blood staining the very ground they had fought so valiantly to defend. In the end, it had all been futile. All around her, the agonizing screams of those who had not been fortunate enough to die quickly assaulted her ears, damning her for failing them. She clutched her hands to her ears, shaking her head like a madwoman, wishing that the cries would end and the tortured remnants of her people would be granted the one solace remaining to them: death.
