2015 King's Cup Winner

New Haven ArenaLOCATION: New Haven Arena

The King’s Cup is literally the ‘crown’ jewel of the tournaments. Only the best of the best get invited to compete for the ultimate haul in wealth and fame. Eight of the finest warriors and mages will enter the arena in a do or die event.

Who gets to battle? The winners and second place finishers of the previous tournaments get automatic invitations to crack skulls for glory in the name of the King. From there, the other combatants will be selected on a point based system tallied over the year. The points are derived from finishing position in previous tournaments. If we have repeat tournament winners, more positions will be filled from the point total leader board. In the event of a tie in points for the final positions in the tournament, a playoff will be administered by the Cup staff.

Winner Take All Purse - 100 Million Gold and a Valorite Trophy
2nd Place – A Verite Trophy
3rd Place – An Agapite Trophy
Participants – A Gold Trophy

Prizes will be awarded at the conclusion of the last bout.

Tournament Rules
Contenders MUST report to the arena FIFTEEN MINUTES before the tournament is set to begin or face disqualification.
Official bouts of the tournament will be single elimination one verses one bouts with NO timer, no mounts/flying, no pets or summons, no field spells. If a bout ends in a draw, those contenders will immediatly fight an untimered rematch. Should a second draw somehow occur, combatants will be asked to choose a random number between 1 and 100 to determine the winner (Winning number will be determed by a Lucky Dealer rolling a 1d100, closest combatant wins).
The use of the invisibility spell or invisibility-causing items is limited to brief periods of time. Should a contender spend the majority of a bout hidden from view, they will be disqualified.
The Herald will announce the combatants prior to each fight. Only fights announced by the Herald will count. (Herald: Gov. Dot Warner)

ANYONE FOUND VIOLATING THE RULES WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.
